Leap is particularly close to my heart.
Completed in September 2022, the year when I transitioned to a part time job to spend more time honing my craft. Leap marks a pivotal moment where I took a step towards the direction that aligns with my life’s general trajectory. I don’t know where I will land myself at, but this little girl you see jumping off a flower decided to take the plunge regardless.
She may seems confident of what lies ahead but I cannot tell you how far from the truth that is. It is a big and wild world out here, and most times, these knees are scraped from the jumps taken; some recklessly, while there are some I hesitate while looking over from the edge. Yet it’s safe to say I have learned to land better.
Today, I am grateful to wake to a different way of life and a view that I can behold mostly because of the plunge taken more than a year ago.
