Floater informally means “a person who is continually changing their place of residence, employment, etc.”—Dictionary.com

What if I want to have a taste of life in as many countries as possible?
What if I simply enjoy trying new jobs and cannot bear the thought of working in the same place for 5years?

In a world where being a floater is perceived as lacking maturity and seriousness in their life choices, Floater aims to challenge this perception by presenting a slower lifestyle as an alternative to the hustle and bustle we often idealise.

Referencing Yishun Swimming Complex, a place we frequent for swims. When there isn’t a crowd, we enjoy floating and drifting around while looking up at the sky; slowly dissipating some of life’s heaviness. May the lightness of these moments transcend through this visual, reminding you yet again—when it’s not a destination worth anchoring, staying afloat while you continue exploring may just be the right thing to do.
