Catch A Breath

When was the last ime you are fully aware that you are indeed, breathing. In the midst of our day to day, it is important to once in a while, breathe well. It may sound silly. But I hear “eat well” and “sleep well” so very often, yet one of the most fundamental to our survival—breathing seem to be taken for granted.
Apart from challenging myself in this piece, it allows me to express the aliveness I feel being underwater. The act of holding my breath and to surface for air makes me aware that I am alive.
To breathe, what a subtle and quiet way my body is saying: “I want to be here.”
I hope in the midst of your busy life, maybe at night before you drift off to sleep, take time to breathe well.
