A word play by merging ‘Calbee’ and ‘wasabi’, Calbi brings back fond childhood memories as this snack is often enjoyed with my siblings. Apart from its piquant flavour, its form and colour is distinct to itself and easily recognisable.
Calbi is an attempt to observe the details of a pack of Calbee chips; while exploring the contrasting colours as seen on its packaging and adding visual interest in colour and texture with an added blob of wasabi paste.
